All of my friends on Instagram will know that I sew a lot for Paul. Paul works in IT and is very creative. He has discovered the joy of being able to wear funky prints to the office.
A couple of months ago he proudly wore his alphabet printed sweater to a client meeting with the Ministry of Education. He was sure they admired his outfit.
Up until recently, I only used two patterns for Paul. The Paxson sweater and our self-drafted T-shirt pattern which I need to make a post on! I think it’s quite interesting to see how different the pattern looks just by changing the fabric.
On his wishlist is an 80’s hoodie pattern which he needs to trace off and cut out before I start 😉 a mens shirt in a scissor print fabric, a t-shirt the fabric is a cute horse print, A bomber jacket, and a cardigan. I purchased the Andrew cardigan pattern and some fabric for it as he has rediscovered during Me-Made-May how much he enjoys wearing cardigans.
Here’s what Paul wore during MMM.
Most of the fabrics for Pauls clothes are sourced from The Fabric Store, Spotlight, NZ Merino and Fabrics and The Fabric Warehouse.
I’m really enjoying my menswear journey. Please let me know If you have any pattern suggestions.
